Kaimak is a cozy Turkish café nestled in the heart of Johnsonville, Wellington.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Café Manager to join our vibrant team.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering 40 hours per week.

As a Café Manager specialising in traditional Turkish cuisine, you will be responsible for :

Oversee daily café operations, including front-of-house and kitchen coordination

Manage staff rosters, training, and performance

Monitor stock levels and order supplies

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations

Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally

Monitor costs and assist with budgeting and sales targets

Ideal candidates will have :

At least 2 years of relevant experience or a bachelor's degree

Knowledge of Turkish cuisine

Strong organisational and time management skills

A positive attitude and a genuine passion for food

Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Willingness to undergo random drug testing if required

A criminal history check may be conducted if necessary
