About the Role
Are you an experienced and motivated Nuclear Medicine Technologist?
An established healthcare provider is seeking a skilled and motivated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their progressive and collaborative radiology team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that values innovation, technical excellence and high-quality patient care.
Working with cutting-edge technology, including two state-of-the-art PET scanners and two Nuclear Medicine devices, you’ll have the choice to specialise in either PET or Nuclear Medicine, although working across both modalities is available.
As part of a well-supported team of five- to eight technologists operating across multiple sites, you will enjoy a stable Monday to Friday schedule, with minimal weekend shifts for pre-surgical imaging.

Key Responsibilities
Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging with precision, adhering to best practices and clinical protocolsManage a diverse caseload including musculoskeletal, small parts and vascular ultrasound examinationsUtilise advanced imaging technology to produce accurate and diagnostic-quality resultsCollaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure patient-centred careMaintain detailed and accurate patient records while strictly observing safety and hygiene standardsContribute to a supportive, inclusive and professional workplace culture through active engagement and teamworkSkills and Experience
Registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board as a Nuclear Medicine TechnologistDemonstrated experience in nuclear medicine and / or PET imaging (CT imaging experience would be advantageous, but not essential)Competent in the administration of radiopharmaceuticals and operation of advanced imaging technologiesStrong interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to cultural and community diversityAbility to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, often across multiple clinical sitesExceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to patient safety and quality careA willingness to engage in ongoing learning and professional development within the field of nuclear medicineReference :
