He angitutanga / The opportunity : We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Steward to join our team at one of Auckland Airport's most prestigious lounges .

As a key member of the kitchen and service support team, you'll ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and smooth operations across food preparation and dining areas.

Your contribution will help deliver a premium experience to our guests.

This is a Part-Time position with 30 hours per week rostered across 7 days of the week.

Therefore, the successful candidate MUST be available to work during weekends!

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities : Maintain clean and tidy dining and kitchen areas, including sweeping, mopping, and waste handling.

Assist with food preparation, portioning, and plating, following food safety protocols.

Wash dishes, kitchen equipment, and ensure proper sanitisation and storage.

Replenish supplies and rotate stock in dining and kitchen areas.

Communicate effectively with colleagues and respond to customer requests professionally.

He korero mou / About you : Experience in a similar role, ideally in a kitchen or hospitality environment.

Physically fit, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Flexible with shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.

Familiarity with kitchen cleaning equipment and food safety standards (NZQA Food Handling Certificate preferred).
