Motel Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The role involves greeting guests, managing reservations, and providing excellent customer service. Applicants should be a Bachelor degree in hospitality, fluency in English and flexibility for shift work, including evenings up to 11 PM, are essential.

Job Title : Motel Receptionist

Key Responsibilities :

Welcome and greet all guests in a warm and professional manner upon arrival.

Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently.

Answer phone calls, respond to email inquiries, and provide accurate information about services and facilities.

Assist with reservations, cancellations, and room allocations.

Handle guest requests and complaints promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Record and update guest information accurately in the system.

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.

Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.

Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry when required.

Pay rate : Minimum $25 / hour, Maximum $30 / hour

Guaranteed hours of work per week : Minimum 30 hours, permanent full time

Requirements for the job :

Bachelor degree in hospitality.

May work full time, and on weekends and holidays;

Flexibility for shift work, including evenings up to 11 PM;

No criminal record;

Candidates need to be NZ citizens / residents.
