He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga | About the role

We welcome applications from candidates across Levels 0–4, with a requirement for experience in palliative or end-of-life care, whether that be in your personal or professional life. Full training will be provided by Access within a supportive and collaborative team environment. We’re seeking someone with a kind, gentle nature and a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality, flexible care.

Role requirements :

• Weekend availability is essential — ideally every weekend, or at minimum every second weekend.
• Strong English language skills and comprehension.
• Part-time position with flexibility based on your availability. Morning shift availability is required, and flexibility across the day is highly valued.
• Ability and willingness to travel, as the Tauranga Palliative Team supports clients across the wider Bay of Plenty region.

You’ll be part of a connected service with regular team meetings, check-ins, and ongoing pastoral support.
