Job descriptionHelp to establish Fivetran as the premier Data Movement platform in New Zealand Drive consistent activity, pipeline development and quota achievement Work with new customers to drive adoption and help them realize value as quickly as possible Collaborate with channel partners and develop superior solutions that exceed customer expectations Determine customer requirements and present appropriate solutions Effectively communicate through excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills Liaise with and leverage internal stakeholders across multiple timezones to meet the demands of our customers (e.g., Deal Desk, Legal, Operations) Attend a one-week Revenue Bootcamp during the second week at Fivetran; this onboarding component requires travel and is mandatory Self-directed : ability to work independently and take initiative Strong sense of urgency and commitment to timely task completion Thrives in fast-paced environments with ambitious growth targets Exceptional organizational skills and time management Intellectual curiosity and desire to stay updated on industry trends Proven track record of success in sales and business development Ability to grasp data and engineering concepts and position Fivetran to fit customer needs Passion for building customer relationships and closing new business Excellent presentation and listening skills Enthusiastic, self-motivated and positive attitude Experience using Looker, SFDC and Clari Prior experience in a data technology company 100% employer-paid medical insurance Generous PTO and paid sick time, inclusive parental leave, holidays, and volunteer days off RSU stock grants Professional development and training opportunities Company virtual happy hours, free food, and team-building activities Monthly cell phone stipend Access to mental health support resources for employees and dependents May vary by country and worker type – please reach out to your recruiter for more information
Overview
We are growing the Sales team and looking for an experienced Commercial Account Executive to join our team and help expand our presence in New Zealand. This is a full-time, remote position based out of New Zealand.
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and has a positive attitude with a passion for building customer relationships and closing new business opportunities. The Commercial Account Executive must have the confidence and ability to negotiate and close agreements and support new customers through onboarding. As part of the Sales team, you will be in a fast-paced startup environment driven to exceed performance objectives and will develop a strong knowledge of Fivetran’s solutions.
From Fivetran’s founding, our mission has been to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity — so customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required.
