EIS is based across two South Island locations, and we’re looking for a talented Electrical Estimator to join our Southland team.

Invercargill is where we call home (well, and our Christchurch office, too); It’s our playground and nothing is ever more than an hour or two away. World class fishing? Rugged hunting destinations? Beaches? Rivers and lakes? Mountains? We’ve got them all.

As our Electrical Estimator, you’ll slot into our high-performing, collaborative team, estimating our electrical and automation process control projects for key industrial clients.

We work hard and play hard, so you’ll need to keep up! But as long as you’re hungry to learn and keen to seize every opportunity, we’re sure you’ll be a great fit with EIS.

To claim this role as your own, you’ll need to have some experience in :

• Accurately quantifying and costing projects
• Interpreting P&IDs and electrical drawings
• Proficiently use Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
• Effectively communicate and build strong relationship with clients, suppliers, management and team
• Demonstrate commercial acumen
• Agility to manage your workload, prioritising to meet key dates.
• Driving for continual improvement of yourself, systems and processes

We like to think we’re a pretty straight up bunch, so preference will be given to candidates with 2-3 years’ experience in electrical design and industrial electrical / automation projects, plus a tertiary qualification recognised in NZ based on :
