Our Glacier Explorers offer a unique guest experience to our visitors. Our skipper guides drive and maneuver small passenger boats to take our guests on a fun and informative excursion on the Tasman Lake, interacting around icebergs and up to the mighty terminal face of NZ’s largest glacier.
Our skipper guides are responsible for sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm for the area with our guests and delivering a memorable guest experience. No day on the Tasman Lake is ever the same, offering variety and challenge like no other role.
What will you bring to the role?
Previous guiding experience of at least 6 months is preferred. We provide all training to ensure you are up to speed with our products, services, standards, and expectations.
