• Hours of work are Monday - Friday 0800 -1630, with weekend and on call rosters

• This is an exceptionalopportunity for a qualified pharmacist to join our team in a designated rolewithin our production unit. The department provides regular continuing education andnumerous other training opportunities.We are looking for an enthusiastic pharmacist with a good work ethic, enjoysworking as part of a team, has excellent interpersonal skills and a strongdesire to learn. Production experience is preferred but not mandatory. Key tasks include :
• Oversight of dispensing and preparation of cytotoxic and sterile products through the production unit
• Liaison with clinicians, patients and commercial providers to ensure an efficient, effective and safe service
• Ensuring production practices are in keeping with all applicable legislation including New Zealand Pharmacy Standards and GMP
• Supervision, training and support of technicians, interns and students
• Participation in the on-call service as required
• Involvement in interdisciplinary education
• About You
• We are seeking a qualified Pharmacistwho is NZ registered or with the ability to obtain a New Zealand AnnualPracticing Certificate, as well as demonstrating these skills / experiences :
• Experience in a pharmacy production environment is preferred but not essential
• Good communication skills and ability build strong working relationships
• Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
• Adaptable to changing team environments
• Can demonstrate a positive learning mindset
