Do you love the way sea air slows the pace?
At Little Coasties by Busy Bees, a short stroll from the beach, we are seeking a Registered ECE Teacher to join our community-minded team. Bring your practice to a place where tamariki are seen as taonga.
About us :
Our days are shaped by the coast. Unhurried routines, space to explore, and beach walks where tamariki investigate rock pools, natural treasures, and care for the coastline. In our age-appropriate rooms, children are welcomed, known, and encouraged to grow with confidence. Baking with kaiako builds fine-motor skills, early maths, and independence. Story-rich learning, strong whānau partnerships, and community connections create real belonging. As part of Busy Bees Aotearoa, you will feel the strength of a nationwide whānau.
About you :
You hold NZ teacher registration in ECE or Primary and bring a warm, nurturing presence. Clear communication, trusted relationships with whānau and colleagues, and a love of child-led learning come naturally. You are confident with Te Whāriki, planning, and assessment, and you value inclusive practice that helps tamariki feel safe, curious, and ready to explore.
The mahi :
Designing thoughtful, play-based experiences that honour children’s ideas, observe learning with care, and contribute to planning and learning stories that reflect each child’s voice. You will champion safety and wellbeing, support smooth routines, and partner closely with whānau so progress is noticed, celebrated, and shared.
