Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure our property maintains the highest cleanliness and presentation standards.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Supervise and support housekeeping staff to ensure daily cleaning standards are met.

Allocate duties and prepare daily work schedules for the housekeeping team.

Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to maintain IHG brand standards.

Train, coach, and motivate team members.

Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies and stock levels.

Ensure compliance with workplace health & safety and hygiene standards.

Communicate with Front Office and Maintenance teams to address guest requirements.

Assist with rostering, performance management, and staff development.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role within a commercial cleaning, hotel or accommodation environment.

Extensive knowledge in cleaning products and reservations systems

Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Good communication skills (spoken and written English).

Flexibility to work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
