Lead Marketing and Communications Advisor
We are looking for an exceptional marketing and communications leader who can think strategically, act decisively, and motivate people to change behaviours that build long‑term community resilience.
About the role
As the Lead Marketing & Communications Advisor , you will be the driving force behind how the Wellington region understands, prepares for, and responds to emergencies. Your work will shape public behaviour, influence community readiness, and support life‑saving outcomes during real events.
Based at our Thorndon office, you will work closely with teams across WREMO and the nine councils of the Wellington Region to deliver outcomes from the CDEM Group Strategy 2025‑35 , Group Plan and WREMO's Annual Plan.

The remuneration for this position, inclusive of all benefits, is $100,478 to $150,717, with a midpoint of $125,598. Starting remuneration will depend on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
