OverviewWe have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Health & Safety Advisor to join a company that's reshaping the way it works and striving for excellence in safety.

This position is in the Central North Island region and will report directly to our Head of Safety.

You will work with our operational teams across the region to lead Health & Safety improvement initiatives and programmes.

Building trusted relationships, challenging the status quo, and lifting capability will be the key to your success.

This is a hands-on role, partnering with teams in the field to build capability, deliver practical safety solutions, and embed a contemporary H&S mindset throughout the region.ResponsibilitiesGuide branches and managers to deliver on the safety strategy planCoordinate and deliver training to ensure understanding and engagementCollaborate with stakeholders to foster a proactive, safety-conscious cultureProvide clear technical advice and guidanceMentor and coach managers and teams to drive performance and capabilityLead and participate in incident investigations, audits, and risk management activitiesYou will have5+ years' experience in a Health & Safety advisory role in a high-risk, multi-site industryLevel 6 or above Health & Safety or other technical qualification (desired)Incident investigation skills and knowledge of modern safety practicesStrong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skillsExperience driving measurable H&S improvementsSolid H&S legislative knowledge and practical applicationIf you wish to apply, please click Apply Now and submit a cover letter and a copy of your CV.Employment detailsSeniority level : Mid-Senior levelEmployment type : Full-timeJob function : Training and Strategy / PlanningIndustries : Manufacturing, Truck Transportation, and Environmental ServicesEnviro NZ services all community needs; from collection and disposal of waste and recycling, through to recovery, remediation, and treatment, promoting sustainable processes, resource recovery, and waste minimisation.The successful applicant will be required to complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment (including drug test) and a Ministry of Justice criminal records check.
