Karori Community Centre Manager

Responsibilities

We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative leader who shares the Karori Community Centre's vision to make Karori a great place to live.

You will manage and work closely with a small team of part-time staff who will be looking to you for direction and support, and you will not be afraid to roll up your sleeves to make things happen.

This is an exciting time for the centre, building on our successes, and with the anticipated completion of the Karori Event Centre.

You will report to an experienced and enthusiastic board, providing governance and support for the centre's activities.

The manager role is 25 hours per week (usually 9am – 2.30 pm Monday - Friday but negotiable).

It will be an advantage, for you have established community networks in Karori and Wellington.

Qualifications

leadership and management capabilities

strong collaboration and communication skills and experience

relevant work experience

Applicants need to be NZ citizens or eligible to work in New Zealand.
