Science Tutor

Aotearoa Art Academy is a private training establishment that primarily provides training for young art enthusiasts.

At the request of parents, we also offer private tutoring in various academic subjects.

We are now seeking a Science Tutor to teach science to students in primary and secondary schools.

This is a full-time position with a minimum workload of 30 hours per week.The main tasks include :

• Planning individual lessons and overall study programs based on students' needs.
• Teaching science concepts clearly, guiding students through practice exercises, and explaining difficult topics.
• Assigning exercises and homework tailored to each student's progress and ability.
• Preparing students for school assessments and external examinations.
• Assessing students' performance and providing constructive feedback and encouragement.
• Continuously developing and improving teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
• Communicating regularly with parents about their child's learning progress and goals.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety standards.
• Managing related administrative tasks such as lesson records and student reports.
