As a Care Assistant, you'll provide compassionate, person-centred support to our residents, helping them live with dignity, independence, and joy.Role : Care AssistantLocation : Tunbridge Wells Care Centre, 142 Upper Grosvenor Road, Tunbridge Wells, TN1 2EDSalary : £12.81 - £13.27 per hourHours : 34.5 hours, working on a rota including weekends and public holidaysIn this rewarding role, you'll work individually and as part of a supportive team to deliver the highest standards of care and companionship to our residents.What you'll be doing : Checking on residents throughout the day and night to ensure their wellbeing and comfortProviding personal care with kindness and respect, supporting residents with daily activities while encouraging their independenceHelping residents maintain their dignity and self-esteem through patient, compassionate careContributing to care plans by working alongside residents and their families or representativesSupporting residents to take part in wellbeing and social activities both inside and outside the homeBuilding positive, trusting relationships with residents, families, and your teamWhat you'll bring : A professional, reliable, and flexible approach to your workStrong communication skills, both written and verbalA respectful, courteous, patient, and compassionate manner at all timesIdeally, a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)The ability to work well independently and as part of a teamWhy join Canford Healthcare?
