He aha te tūranga – About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Education Lead to shape and deliver our Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) education framework. Reporting to the Head of HSW, this role will lead the design, development, and delivery of engaging learning solutions that lift capability, improve compliance, and support best HSW practice within the organisation.

What you’ll do

• Oversee development and delivery of the organisation‑wide HSW education framework.
• Conduct training needs analysis across key risks and policy requirements to develop training plans and materials.
• Develop high‑quality learning materials for diverse audiences – from leaders to frontline staff – using blended methods such as online, video, virtual reality, and face‑to‑face delivery.
• Partner with internal learning teams to ensure HSW education aligns with broader organisational learning priorities.
• Integrate evaluation into all programmes to measure impact and continuously improve outcomes.
• Coordinate the HSW training calendar to ensure both compliance and proactive learning opportunities.

This role is a 12 month fixed‑term contract and can be based from Auckland or Hamilton.
