Maintenance Engineer - Wiri
Our client is a well-known and iconic food brand that values teamwork, safety, and innovation. We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with an EWRB or EST license to join their small, family-style team. This is a permanent role on the Tuesday-Saturday, 5 : 30 AM - 2 : 30 PM shift .

The Role
As part of the maintenance team, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. From preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to project work and continuous improvement, this role offers plenty of variety.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance on plant equipment
Complete repairs and servicing within set timeframes
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues
Contribute to project work, ensuring quality and timely delivery
Support and enhance site health, safety, and environmental systems
Participate in team and project meetings, offering practical solutions and updates
What We're Looking For
NZQA Level 4 Certification in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
Electrical Service Technician (EST) or EWRB Registered Electrician with mechanical skills
Experience as a Maintenance Fitter with strong hands-on repair and troubleshooting ability
Comfortable working in a cold food manufacturing environment with some physical tasks (lifting, standing, repetitive work)
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a small team
Solid understanding of health, safety, and compliance requirements
