This part-time role offers a special opportunity to ignite a passion for Maori performing arts, fostering confidence, teamwork, and pride in cultural identity through waiata, haka, poi, and tikanga Maori.The biggest event of the year is ASB Polyfest in Term 1, with several school and community performances throughout the year to prepare for.Mo te turanga | About the roleTeach Kapa Haka across the Senior School, nurturing students' performance skills and cultural understanding.Plan and deliver engaging, authentic sessions that bring Te Reo Maori, tikanga, and matauranga to life.Prepare students for Polyfest and school events with strong leadership and organisation.Collaborate with staff, whanau, and Te Whare Huia (the Maori Department) to strengthen cultural programmes and connections.Coordinate performance logistics, including piupiu, uniforms, props, and rehearsals.Start date : End of January
