About the Role

We have opportunities for 3 people to join our Converting Department based at our Porirua Plant working variable shift hours across a 5 day per week shift pattern (pattern is week 1 2 x days and 2 x nights, week 2 3 x days and week 3 3 x nights).

In this role you will setup and operate a bag converting machine as directed by the Shift Team Leader.

As part of your role, you will ensure product specifications are adhered to while accurately completing the required process paperwork.

You will conduct all required quality checks and perform regular in-line checks. Another key part of this role is housekeeping.

You will be required to clean your machine and work area according to the published schedule and carry out process maintenance as and when required.

About the Person

You will have prior experience working in a fasted paced manufacturing environment, strong problem-solving skills and great communication skills.

You should be able to work unsupervised and have good technical learning capability. If you are reliable, safety conscious and have a keen eye for detail, then we want to hear from you.
