Senior / Pharmacy Technician •

Perform technical duties under the supervision of pharmacists to ensure safe, efficient and timely distribution of drugs in AH.

Assist the pharmacist in-charge to provide supervision to pharmacy support staff and to coordinate activities within a section to ensure smooth workflow and continuous improvement.

Dispense medicines to the patients according to department policies and guidelines.

Job Responsibilities

Daily Operations

• Provide professional and courteous service to all patients / customers
• Process medication orders / prescriptions for both inpatient and outpatient
• Picking, packing and labelling in accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines and department standard operating procedures
• Perform billing functions
• Ensure the work area is ready for daily operations
• Maintain the cleanliness of the pharmacy and ward areas where drugs are stored
• Involvement in workplace quality improvement projects / activities as and when required
