We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative teacher of physical education and health who also has experience in coaching girls sports teams.

This is an exciting opportunity to join New Zealand's only state integrated Islamic Area school. We are looking for a dynamic educator who is passionate about engaging young people in learning and committed to fostering both personal wellbeing and physical excellence.

Specific requirements :

• We require full-time (35 hours) teachers who will work at Al-Madinah School.
• Teachers will be required to deliver the New Zealand Curriculum to students from Y9 to 13.
• Applicants must be New Zealand registered teachers and have the appropriate qualifications.
• The ability to teach the arts and social sciences would be an advantage.
• Be able to integrate the special character knowledge into the teaching and learning programs at the school.
• Be expected to participate in and support the implementation of the special character of the school.
• Have the skillset to coach girls Netball, Football, Futsal, Volleyball and other sports.

This is a permanent teaching position, working from Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm. Extra call-out days will be in accordance to ASTCA (Area School Teachers' Collective Agreement). Salary for this position is minimum $61,329 to a maximum of $103,086 depending on the qualifications and experience. Detailed job description attached.
