At St Vincent de Paul, we're here to support people in our community who are doing it tough — and our volunteers are at the heart of making that happen.

Right now, we're looking for friendly faces to join our Vinnies team in Frankton.

If you can spare at least 6 hours a week, we'd love to have you on board.What you'll be doing : Welcoming customers and helping out at the counterRefreshing stock and keeping the store looking its bestWhat you'll get out of it : Hands-on experience in retail and customer serviceA chance to work alongside a fun, supportive volunteer teamThe opportunity to be part of the wider Vinnies whanauRequirements : Someone who can commit to at least 3 monthsHas some retail experience, or an interest in retail, to give it a go and learn along the way (Training Provided)Fluent in English and has strong communication skillsReliable, turns up on time, and enjoys working with othersHappy to lend a hand with a mix of tasks during a shiftBrings a positive attitude and a welcoming smileOkay with being on your feet for a few hoursKeen to be part of a fun, supportive team and the wider Vinnies whanauA Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.Time commitment : Must be able to commit to at least one shift per week, with the option to take on more if available : Monday : 9am - 4pmTuesday : 9am - 4pmWednesday : 9am – 4pmThursday : 9am - 4pmFriday : 9am - 4pmSat : 9am - 1pmGetting started : The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below.
