Aftermarket Sales Rep - Crown Palmerston North

Overview

As business grows, we're looking for an automotive Aftermarket Sales Rep to join our Sales team in our Lower North Island region.

With a knowledgeable and experienced team around you, you'll be well supported to succeed!

This is a diverse and exciting role which will see you providing a high level of customer support to our existing loyal customer base, ensuring retention and growth through the Aftermarket Sales function.

Based in Palmerston North and traveling to our customers throughout the Lower North Island, you'll be working with existing customers building long term relationships and maximising aftermarket Service sales, whilst pursuing leads, cold calling and proactively seeking out additional sales opportunities in a highly competitive market.

There is lots of flexibility in the role and you will work closely with our operations teams around the region.

Responsibilities

Build long-term relationships with existing customers in the Lower North Island and maximise aftermarket service sales.

Pursue leads, cold call and proactively seek out additional sales opportunities in a highly competitive market.

Provide a high level of customer support to retain and grow the existing loyal customer base.

Collaborate with operations teams across the region to ensure service delivery and coverage.

Qualifications

Energetic, enthusiastic self-starter with a strong customer-centric and solutions-focused attitude and excellent communication skills.

Proven success in a field sales role is preferred; strong organisational and planning skills with solid influencing and negotiation abilities.

Computer savvy and able to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Positive, can-do attitude; team-spirited with exceptional customer service / relationship skills.

Automotive or trade-related background or knowledge is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn and grow.

A full pre-employment medical including a drug test is required; must be legally entitled to live and work in New Zealand; a current full NZ driver's licence is required.
