We're seeking an Information Security Specialist (Third Party Security Assurance - TPSA) to join our dynamic Cyber Security team.
In this role, you'll deliver high-quality cyber consultancy services, with a prime focus on Third Party Contracts, helping to protect ASB and our customers from evolving cyber threats.
This is a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your expertise, judgement and communication skills will be valued as you work with both internal stakeholders and external partners to uplift our security posture and culture.
About the role
As an Information Security Specialist (TPSA), you'll play a key role in reviewing and negotiating third-party contract clauses to ensure third parties are contractually bound to maintain their Information Security capabilities.
You'll provide specialist cyber security consultancy for supplier contracts, support the professional development of your squad, and work closely with Technology, Cyber and Business stakeholders to deliver great security outcomes and business value.
You'll also contribute to the development and communication of cyber security guardrails, policies and technology controls, and help drive continuous improvement in our TPSA processes and deliverables.
Key responsibilities
Deliver a broad range of high-quality cyber consultancy services with a focus on Third Party Contracts.
Work with internal stakeholders and third parties to undertake contract negotiation activities.
Provide specialist cyber security consultancy for supplier contracts.
Support the professional development of your squad through knowledge sharing and peer training.
Collaborate with Technology, Cyber and Business teams to deliver strong security outcomes and business value.
Uplift cyber security knowledge and culture across all stakeholders.
Produce high-quality reporting, risk assessments and consultancy for contract activities.
Contribute to the development and communication of cyber security guardrails, policies and technology controls.
Identify and support opportunities for continuous improvement of TPSA processes and deliverables.
Support the ongoing maintenance and delivery of TPSA risk reporting and metrics.
Manage issues effectively, particularly those relating to TPSA activities.
Positively contribute to a strong, positive cyber security culture and mindset.
What you need to be successful
Strong knowledge and experience in cyber security and / or technology risk management.
Experience in reviewing and negotiating contract terms.
Ability to provide high-quality guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain cyber security considerations in business terms.
Understanding of technology controls in a business environment, and the ability to consider business implications of security risks and recommendations.
