About the Role

Great South is looking for someone to deliver the Business Events Southland Strategy, grow off-peak visitation, and elevate Southland’s national and international conference profile. We’re the engine behind Southland’s growth—tourism, events, business, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities :

• Strategic partnerships with iwi, venues, airlines, and trade
• Bidding and planning for high-impact conferences
• Marketing campaigns and digital storytelling
• Economic impact reporting and community wellbeing initiatives

Ideal Candidate :

A connector, strategist, and event visionary
