Job description

This role is ideal for a creative video editor passionate about pushing the boundaries of comedy and visual storytelling. The project centers on crafting absurdist, psychedelic comedic content inspired by the likes of Eric Andre and Tim and Eric. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging, surreal, and humorous videos that break away from conventional editing styles. The position is fully remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to collaborate on future projects if the initial work is successful.

Deliverables

Edit and assemble video content to create a cohesive, absurdist comedic narrative.
Integrate surreal visual effects, unconventional transitions, and experimental editing techniques.
Collaborate closely to understand the comedic vision and ensure the final product aligns with the intended style.
Deliver high‑quality, polished videos ready for online distribution.
Meet agreed‑upon deadlines and adapt to feedback for revisions.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in video editing, preferably with a portfolio showcasing comedic or experimental work.

Proficiency with industry‑standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.

Strong sense of comedic timing and an eye for visual storytelling.

Ability to incorporate psychedelic, surreal, and unconventional elements into edits.

Creative problem‑solving skills and openness to feedback.

Excellent communication and time‑management skills.
