Veterinary Clinic Manager

We are progressive ‘Vet Club’ (Incorporated Society) with farmer members and modern veterinary clinics providing excellent animal health services to a wide range of farming and small animal clients for over 80 years. As a club, we specialise in providing our members and clients with access to the best practical and technical expertise coupled with excellent customer service through our clinics in the greater Waikato region.

THIS POSITION : We are looking for a Clinic Manager for our Cambridge clinic.

The Clinic Manager reports to the CEO and is part of the Clinic Management Team that work together to develop and implement initiatives that optimise team culture, customer satisfaction, business performance and efficiency, and provide consistency across Vetora.

This role is ideally suited for a natural leader with experience in veterinary or similar rural service-based organisations. The Clinic Manager is responsible for the smooth day-to-day operational management of the clinic, ensuring that a high professional level of service is given, frameworks and systems run at an optimal level and the clinic meets all best practice requirements.

There is a strong focus on influential leadership and motivation of teams to ensure a cooperative workplace, efficient rosters, clinic policies and processes, on-site health / safety and compliance, stock control, debtor and database management. But most of all the Clinic Manager ensures there is a positive culture focused on providing the very best animal health service for our communities.

YOU : To be successful you will need to have experience in managing and motivating a team in a rural or veterinary business. As this is very much a relationship‑based role, you must be highly engaging, with a cooperative and warming nature, able to work autonomously, be commercially savvy with the ability to improve business operations and team culture. Integrity and relationship‑building capabilities are a must.
