Our purpose is to make Kiwis' lives a little better every day.With 189 supermarkets across New Zealand supported by 21,000+ team members, we give our customers a choice of more than 20,000 different products in each of our stores.About the Role | Mo te TurangaReporting to the Senior Marketing Manager - Trade, your primary focus will be to plan, develop & manage the activation and execution of our Trade strategy and support the way we develop our communications around pricing, trade events, and our wider value propositions.Part of the wider Trade team, you will combine commercial knowledge with a deep understanding of our customers to drive short-term sales, long-term value for money perceptions, and overall brand advocacy for the Woolworths brand.Key Priorities For The Role IncludeBring our trade marketing strategy to life, collaborating and creating exciting customer journeys and propositions for our weekly offer, trading events and wider value propositionsIdentify opportunities for innovation in marketing strategy and tactical executionDrive effective and efficient communication planning across all our marketing activities.Drive the execution of our trade roadmap both tactically and strategically, supporting and motivating the team to deliver world-class brand and marketing communicationsCollaborate with our commercial team to ensure we are delivering a compelling offer to customers every week across all channelsWork collaboratively across squads & the wider business, while supporting a high-performing team of marketing expertsSet clear input and output targets in relation to marketing programmesChampion data-driven and insight-led decision-making to inform strategies, identify opportunities, optimise performance and proactively mitigate challenges.Maintain and grow strategic relationships within the business across Merchandise, Marketing, Operations, and Cartology teamsMaintain relationships with external agency partners including creative design and mediaSupporting and mentoring junior members of the team.About You | MouThis key role requires a passionate and experienced product marketer, with strong commercial understanding, a strategic and analytical mindset as well as a deep expertise in reaching audiences in a fragmented and complex media landscape, both digital and traditional.

A demonstrable passion for the NZ Grower market and fresh & healthy products will be an advantage.Your Specific Experience Will Likely ReflectDeep understanding of customers, their behaviours and habitsExperience working with commercial teams and / or suppliers, including an understanding of commercial metrics, terminology, and pricing.Ability to demonstrate success in brand management, able to manage multiple portfoliosProven ability to work in a complex, fast paced retail environmentExceptional collaboration, influencing and communication skillsStrong analytical skills, with particular focus on customer and business metrics, an ability to understand trends, question hypotheses and demonstrate ability to consider data in a decision making processProven experience in campaign management, bringing the campaign to life across all channels within a changing media landscapeExperience in people leadership and being able to lead, grow, and motivate teams to deliver exceptional work.Adaptable to change with a challenger / growth mindsetWorking with Woolworths NZ | Me mahi tahi tatou ki Woolworths NZOur purpose is to make Kiwis' lives a little better every day.We're friendly, down-to-earth, and energetic - we work hard but we have a great time doing it, and we love what we do.
