Mo te tunga | About the Role
We're looking for an Accounts Officer (AP / AR) to join our Finance team on a 6-month fixed term contract.
In this role, you'll deliver accurate and timely accounts payable, accounts receivable, and purchase card processing, while ensuring compliance with financial policies and legislative requirements.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you will :
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
Reconcile major supplier accounts and creditor statements
Manage purchase card transactions and elevate non-compliance
Provide consistent and accurate advice on financial policies and entitlements
Support finance system training and maintain audit trails

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong planning, organisation, and time management abilities
Sound knowledge of financial legislation and parliamentary processes
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

The salary range for this position is $64,485 - $70,979 per annum.
