Second Response Foreperson

Overview

About the role : As a Foreperson, you'll be the go-to person on site, directing people and resources to complete jobs on time and to the highest standards.

You'll be hands-on with scoping and planning, technical support, quality checks and most importantly, ensuring safety is front of mind across every task.

It's a role that offers a mix of leadership, technical input, and collaboration with both internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

Leading field teams to complete jobs safely, efficiently and to spec

Scoping work, planning resources and interpreting technical drawings

Ensuring plant, equipment and compliance checks are up to date

Providing coaching, feedback and guidance to your team

Driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity

Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers

Ensuring daily reporting and audits are completed accurately and on time

About you

Relevant trade qualification and current EWRB practising licence

At least 5 years' experience in the field with a strong safety mindset

Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage team performance

Knowledge of relevant industry codes, policies and standards

Excellent communication and planning skills

A collaborative approach and the confidence to make decisions under pressure
