Do you want to work in a role where no 2 days are the same?

This is a varied, hands-on role where you will need to be willing and able to pull your sleeves up and get stuck into electrical and maintenance projects as they arise.

Reporting into our busy Maintenance Manager, this is an opportunity to combine your passion for a 'job well done' with your maintenance skills in the beautiful landscapes of The Whakatipu Basin.

We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude and excellent communication skills to be the newest member of our hard-working maintenance team.

What you will do

This role involves a variety of tasks around the lodge, including –

General property maintenance

Driving and cleaning company vehicles

General Lodge repairs and maintenance

Guest interaction and support where required (including assisting with luggage)

Maintain the correct usage of all Lodge plant and equipment and report any malfunctions promptly

To ensure the smooth running of all property equipment

What you will bring

As well as your passion for service delivery and for luxury hospitality, you will have -

Previous experience in a maintenance / handyperson position (trade qualifications will be an advantage)

A friendly and approachable personality

Can-do attitude

The ability to multi-task, prioritise and organise

An uncompromising attitude to Health & Safety

A high level of attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills

Excellent communication skills

A full drivers licence and access to your own reliable transport

Well presented and a good level of physical fitness

Flexible approach to working hours (including weekends and public holidays)
