Digital Technology Teacher

Overview

Tuakau College is located in the North Waikato, in the town of Tuakau.

We require a passionate, energetic teacher to teach digital technology in our technology learning area, commencing at the start of 2026.

Responsibilities

Teach digital technology in the technology learning area.

Have good curriculum knowledge and strong classroom management skills.

Support students' learning and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

State other subjects you can teach in your application.

Qualifications and Requirements

Overseas applicants require a three-year specialist degree at Level 7 with a one-year teacher training Level 7 qualification.

New Zealand teacher registration with the NZ Teachers Council is an advantage.

At least 5 years' experience in the classroom.

Condition of work and salary based on the Secondary Teachers Collective Agreement .

Salary range : from $70,779 ($34.02 / hr) to $103,086 ($49.56 / hr).

A salary assessment determines the salary grade.

It is an advantage to have New Zealand teacher registration with the NZ Teachers Council.
