Overview
Motion Conveyance Solutions (MCS) National Lightweight Sales Engineer — Drive sales growth by leveraging technical expertise and industry knowledge to identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities for the Motion Lightweight Conveyance business nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Coach and support other members of the Motion Sales team to build MCS Lightweight product knowledge and drive enterprise value
- Represent MCS providing expertise in the management of large multisite accounts
- Delivery of budgeted revenue, gross profit and market share targets. Create, drive and monitor sales promotions that meet budgeted sales and profit results. Participate in or manage key account negotiations, tenders, proposals
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key accounts. Work with sales and marketing, and direct with customers as required, to ensure excellent product knowledge and application
- Comply with the Motion Code of Conduct and follow policies and procedures to ensure safety
- Provide sales support and conduct joint calls with the Motion Sales team. Collaborate to deliver the best outcomes for the Motion Team
- Collaborate with Motion Workshops to deliver superior outcomes for MCS customers
Ideal Skills & Experience
10+ years’ experience in lightweight conveyance productsAbility to apply technical skills to support business requirementsAbility to understand customer needs and expectations from industry knowledgeExperience in managing distribution and negotiating with distribution providers nationallyExperience developing operational and performance reportingDemonstrated strategic and commercial acumen to improve business performanceStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multitask effectively and meet deadlinesCollaborative skills, ability to develop and drive business plans, high level of customer focusWhat is in it for you?
