Rates of pay start at $

Our operation runs 24 / 7 and operates inmost weathers.

Staff need to be flexible with their working hours as there area range of shifts that are influenced by shipping schedules.Plant Operators drive heavy machinery on the wharffor the loading and unloading of logs from trucks and rail as they arrive atthe port.

The Operators ensure that the logs are safely moved and stackedneatly and accurately in rows, so that they can be moved to the ship's sidewhen they are required to be loaded onto log vessels.C3 operate a variety of heavy machinery includingHigh Stackers and Pivot Steers with log grapples.

As the role involvesoperating large machinery in a confined space on the wharf accuracy, attentionto detail and a strong focus on Health & Safety are a priority.You will hold a minimum of a full Class 1 licencewith W endorsement and preferably have forestry experience in a log fleetingenvironment or similar.

Training opportunities are available for the rightcandidates if you haven't operated this kind of machinery before but aremotivated to learn new skills and develop a career.

You will be reliable, flexible and committedwith the ability to work to deadlines and perform well in a team environment.As part of the selection process, you will need todemonstrate your abilities in a practical pre-employment assessment.
