National Quality Manager - Fibre Packaging

Location : Auckland or Hamilton, New Zealand

We're looking for a National Quality Manager to join our Fibre Packaging team in New Zealand and help ensure our products exceed customer expectations every time.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the GM Fibre NZ, this senior technical role leads quality performance and continuous improvement across Visy's New Zealand Fibre Packaging operations.

You'll engage directly with key customers, drive data-driven quality initiatives, and implement systems that strengthen compliance, innovation and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with national key accounts to review quality metrics, resolve issues, and deliver value-engineering solutions.

Oversee quality systems and compliance standards, using data to identify risks and improvement opportunities.

Lead quality-focused projects, analyse technical performance, and provide timely marketplace support for specifications, tenders and technical requests.

Promote a culture of quality across multiple sites through training, knowledge sharing and best-practice forums.

What You Will Bring to the Team

Proven experience in quality management, technical leadership, or continuous improvement within manufacturing, packaging or FMCG.

Strong customer engagement skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts at all levels.

Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Analytical mindset with advanced data visualisation and reporting skills.

Formal qualification in Applied Science or Engineering; Lead Auditor or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt highly regarded.
