Overview

Agglestone Labs Ltd is a boutique incubator, empowering startups and scale-ups with tailored software expertise and hands-on innovation. Based in New Zealand, we partner with ambitious ventures across the United States, Australia, and New Zealand. We are deliberately selective, working with only three to four companies at a time, ensuring each receives deep engagement and meaningful support.

Location : Remote (must be resident within New Zealand)

Type : Part-time

The Role

As a Non-Executive Director, you will :

  • Provide independent advice, challenge, and oversight to the executive team.
  • Act as a trusted sounding board on strategy, governance, and growth decisions.
  • Bring fresh perspective, networks, and experience to help us strengthen our impact.
  • Contribute to the long-term vision of Agglestone Labs and our portfolio companies.
  • Participate in four board meetings per year (mix of in-person and virtual), with additional ad-hoc discussions as required.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Proven leadership experience at board or senior executive level.
  • A strong background in technology, startups, venture capital, or scaling businesses.
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic, hands-on guidance.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge constructively.
  • A collaborative mindset, aligned with our ethos of working closely with a select number of founders.
