• Permanent, part-time role (0.6 FTE, 24 hours per week)
• Salary $59,024 - $74,442 p.a pro-rata

• About the role
• The Intellectual Disability Service (IDS) is part of the Specialist Mental Health Services based at Wakari Hospital, high above Dunedin.
• Our IDS comprises of three parts :
• Ward 10a - Medium secure forensic Intellectual Disability unit
• The step-down Cottage
• The Community Liaison team
• As a Mental Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for :
• supporting our nurses and other members of the healthcare team
• patient movement
• patient cares, as required
• stock reconciliation
• ward maintenance
• patient watch / supervision, with one-on-one care as required.
