Job description

Science Teacher / Science ECT – January 2026, EdEx – Education Recruitment

An outstanding school in Croydon is looking for a Science Teacher / Science ECT to join their team in January 2026 on a permanent contract. The school routinely achieves some of the best results in science in London without piling pressure onto teachers. Instead, the school has invested in more staff to combat a lack of PPA time and, having received positive feedback, has implemented this change. This has increased morale among teachers, improved results, and enhanced the quality of education for pupils, resulting in the school’s Outstanding Ofsted grade.

As a Science Teacher you will work alongside a supportive Senior Leadership Team and be supported by overstaffed Teaching Assistants, enabling you to enjoy your time in the classroom and minimise time spent planning.
