Wiri Timber Group is a well-established company specialising in residential wall frames and roof trusses , along with a trade and retail timber yard supplying building materials to professional builders, developers, and serious DIYers.

We’re growing – and we’re looking for a motivated, hands‑on Sales Administrator to join our Manukau branch.

About the Role

This is a diverse, fast‑paced position that’s perfect for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a team environment. You’ll work closely with sales reps, customers, suppliers, and internal departments to keep everything running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include :

Serving trade and DIY customers at the sales counter

Responding to online and email enquiries – quoting, order processing & follow‑up

Supporting our mobile sales reps with quoting, sourcing, and order coordination

Liaising with suppliers for deliveries or custom orders

Preparing materials for collection or delivery

Checking off incoming and outgoing goods

Merchandising and stock presentation

General sales administration tasks

What We’re Looking For

We need someone who’s proactive , tech‑savvy , and great with people .

You’ll bring :

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

A friendly, professional communication style – both written and verbal

Confidence in handling multiple tasks and priorities

A strong work ethic and a team‑first attitude

A reliable and punctual approach to your workday

It’s a bonus if you have :

Experience with timber, building products or hardware

Knowledge of timber sizes and treatments

The ability to speak Mandarin or Cantonese (not essential)

Based at our Manukau City branch

Monday to Friday, 7 : 00am – 5 : 00pm

Rostered Saturdays, 7 : 30am – 12 : 00pm
