Part-time 0.6FTE (48 hours per fortnight)Based at BreastScreen Northwest Clinic

BreastScreen Waitemata Northland (BSWN) is part of the Health New Zealands free national BreastScreen Aotearoa (BSA) Programme.We screen over 45,000 wahine each year, and we pride ourselves on consistently delivering a positive experience for our clients.

About the Role

We are looking for a Receptionist to work at our Northwest clinic.

The primary responsibility of the role will be assisting with greeting patients, inbound and outbound calls, supporting client bookings and follow-up as needed.

The rostered hours alternate between weeks.

On week one the hours are 7.45am-4.15pm Monday,

  • am-7pm Thursday, 7.45am-4.15pm Friday and on week two are 7.45am-3.45pm Monday, 3pm-7pm Thursday, 7.45am-4.15pm Friday and 8am-
  • pm Saturday.

This role is responsible for providing an efficient, customer-focussed service to our clients, ensuring they experience a positive interaction.

The role involves greeting clients as they arrive at the clinic, enrolling clients into the Breast Screening program through various channels, ensuring clients receive necessary forms, and following up with those who haven't responded to invitations.

Additionally, the position requires prompt outreach to clients who miss appointments, assistance in rescheduling, and providing advice to clients and primary care regarding appointments and screening / treatment pathways.
