Come and join our Adult Mental Health teams within our community!

We have vacancies in full-time or part-time, permanent or fixed-term employment.

The Mental Health, Addiction and Intellectual Disability Service (MHAIDS) serves the lower North Island of New Zealand - Wairarapa, Hutt Valley and Capital and Coast, and includes local, regional, and national services.

Our adult community mental

health services support people with moderate to severe mental health

difficulties from the ages of 18- 65.

We offer a mix of rural and urban

services.

Each service has its own unique characteristics, driven by the

community it is based in and the clients it supports.

We work in

multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, nurses, and

occupational therapists, and provide consistently high standards of care to

adults patients.

We strive to provide a supportive, flexible working

environment for all our staff.

MHAIDS is committed to upholding the

our services.

Mou - About you

You will be vocationally registered in Psychiatry with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) or hold equivalent qualification and be able qualify for registration with MCNZ.

You will be able to work comfortably and flexibly within a team environment.
