Our friendly IT team has a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced IT Support Engineer who has a passion for all things technology to join the team in our Mount Wellington office.
This role upholds excellence in all Service Delivery and Service Management Activities in accordance with ITIL principles.
You will be part of a dynamic team in an ever changing environment that takes pride in providing exceptional customer service.
Full-Time, Permanent – Guaranteed 40 hours per week
$81,000 – $85,000 per annum
Responsibilities
Complete level 1 and 2 service desk tasks such user creation and deletion, troubleshooting hardware faults, software installations and hardware builds
Ensure quick resolution of critical IT support issues
Log and track all support requests in the ServiceNow Tool
Respond to customer queries within defined SLAs
Assist with system administration and asset management tasks
Assist the senior support team with the resolution of networking and server issues
Assist in the completion of projects including office relocations.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications & Skills
Level 5 or higher qualification in System Administration and IT Technical Support.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an IT Help desk environment.
Demonstrated competence with ServiceNow ticketing system.
Proactive and results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
Demonstrated capability with Google, Gmail, GSuite, Active Directory and Citrix
Knowledge and understanding of Chromebooks would be beneficial
Demonstrated capability with Windows
Demonstrated knowledge of switching protocols, DNS, DHCP and networking
Knowledge of Vmware (ESX) and virtual machines would be beneficial
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrated ability to apply analytical skills to interpret customer issues and resolutions
