We currently have opportunities for registered and unregistered ECE teachers looking for casual relieving hours to support our Busy Bees centres across the Tasman–Nelson region! Being a reliever with us offers great flexibility and work life balance as you can choose the days and times you are available to work; great for those who are in study or for parents looking to return to the workplace.
Where you’ll work
We have six centres from Motueka to Nelson. Relieve at one centre or a handful across the region - let’s have a kōrero about what suits you.
About us
Busy Bees Aotearoa is a collaborative network of unique centres across the motu. Our passionate leaders and kaiako create beautiful learning journeys for the tamariki we’re privileged to teach and care for, with tailored professional development and leadership pathways for every team member. In Tasman–Nelson, where sea meets mountain, learning naturally stretches outdoors. Our centres share a community-first culture, strong whānau partnerships, and well-resourced, play-led spaces where kaiako work with care.
About you
You’re the kind of person who can jump in at short notice and bring calm, care, and good energy with you. ECE experience is a bonus, but what matters most is your warmth, clear communication and genuine love for nurturing little humans. You’ll be joining professional, fun teams who celebrate small wins, share ideas and look out for each other.
We offer a great benefits package, a beautiful nurturing environment and a wonderful team of dedicated teachers to work with.
If you are someone who has a genuine interest in supporting and caring for our little ones and this sounds like the perfect role for you, then take advantage of this opportunity and apply today with your cover letter and CV!
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
Why Work for Busy Bees?
If you’re passionate about early learning, Busy Bees is the place to be. Although we are part of a global organisation, our company was founded by three families looking for better, more enriching childcare. Three decades later, we still keep the same values at heart.
We know that we couldn’t do what we do without the important people in our teams. We invest in our people and work with them to build career pathways that inspire.
