Night Porter

OverviewJoin to apply for the Night Porter role at Rosewood Cape Kidnappers.We are currently seeking a part-time Night Porter to be responsible for the overnight functions of the Lodge, for 2 or 3 nights per week.What you will do : Reporting to the Front Office Manager you will have responsibility for security at the hotel overnight.Cleaning public areasSweeping, mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures and fittingsRemoving rubbish and recyclingCleaning fireplacesMaintaining kitchens, washing dishes and cooking utensils, and cleaning appliances, cupboards, counters, pantries, and floorsAttending to any late-night guest requests; preparing and cooking meals, and serving food and beveragesWelcoming late night or early morning guests, answering telephones, delivering messagesResponding to any emergenciesPatrolling the lodge and groundsWhat you will bring : The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong customer focus, who is honest, responsible and capable of working unsupervised.

This is a hands-on role with lots of variety.
