Dialog Fitzroy has recently secured several major projects across New Zealand and Australia, and we're expanding our team to meet this exciting demand.

You'll be working within the Heavy Industry, Energy, and New Energy sectors as part of a fast-paced EPC delivery business.

Bring your passion for construction-led engineering to our customers and help drive the successful delivery of high-quality projects. A strong interest in systems and software will help fuel our innovation and smart delivery initiatives.

We're seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Electrical Engineer to support our current clients and upcoming project pipeline.

This is a permanent role and can be based in any of our New Plymouth or Wellington teams.

You will be taking the lead on :

• Providing design assistance in the identification, selection and procurement of Electrical equipment or components
• Leading the preparation of quotations / proposals; technical solutions; risk identification & mitigation; cost basis; and implementation approach to ensure ‘fit for purpose' solutions that meet customer specifications
• Ensuring designs are fit for purpose and tasks are completed successfully (accurately, in a timely fashion and cost effectively)
• Consistent use of engineering and design standards, systems, and processes
• Participating in design reviews before implementation to ensure quality, consistency, and coordination with all aspects of the installation
• Actively participating in increasing self-exposure to other disciplines
• Proactively familiarising yourself with any relevant documents, including policies, plans, procedures, systems, contractual requirements, customer requirements and relevant previous designs
