Overview

The Role : In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical management and delivery of high-voltage substation works.

You will ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and effectiveness in all technical and operational aspects of the projects.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical management and execution of high-voltage substation works.

Scope, plan, and provide technical support for all works as required.

Ensure plant and equipment are compliant, in good working order, and fit for purpose.

Provide support in estimating works, ensuring accurate pricing and resource allocation.

Mentor and guide team members to uphold high standards of performance, safety, and quality.

Take responsibility for the safety of yourself, your team, and the public, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.

About You

We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious individual with a passion for technical excellence.

To succeed in this role, you will need :

A relevant trade qualification (Diploma or NZCE or equivalent)

A current practising licence (as required)

Proven technical experience in high-voltage substation environments

Ability to organise and plan workloads to meet project timelines and goals

Strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental standards in the electricity industry

Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team and lead by example

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

A current NZ driver's licence

Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
