Gumboots Early Learning Centre (Waimauku / Helensville) is looking for :

Permanent, Full-Time Registered ECE Teacher

Fixed Term Contract (maternity cover) – Full-time for 6 months

Registered ECE Teachers for our relievers pool

A rare and exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate and qualified Full-Time ECE Teacher to join our team.

Located in a beautiful rural setting Waimauku / Helensville, Gumboots is a place where children thrive through meaningful connections with nature and one another.

Our centre's local curriculum is thoughtfully aligned with our surroundings — outdoor play, rain or shine, muddy adventures, and hands-on learning that reflects our community and whenua.

From our annual zoo trip, Snow Day, and spontaneous outdoor fun, we offer rich experiences that our tamariki and whanau love.

About you

Warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated with a natural love and care for working with children

Thrives in a collaborative team environment that values growth and innovation

Communicates clearly and confidently with colleagues and whanau

Confident in planning and implementing a child-led, play-based curriculum

Holds a New Zealand ECE teaching qualification and certification

Strong understanding of Te Whariki and how to bring it to life in meaningful ways

Playful, curious, and committed to enriching experiences for tamariki

This is a full-time rostered between 7 : 00am and 6 : 00pm.
