Overview

Cordis, Auckland by Langham Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen brigade on a full-time basis (40 hours / week).

Cordis Auckland is a luxury hotel with 640 guest rooms and 18 flexible meeting spaces. Located in Auckland's arts and culture district, joining our team contributes to delivering exceptional guest experiences and the growth of New Zealand’s Leading Hotel (World Travel Awards 2024).

Key Responsibilities

  • Running the In Room Dining section in a smooth and efficient manner
  • Supporting Commis Chefs and Demi Chefs, completing allocated tasks on time, and training them to run different sections in your absence
  • Maintaining high functionality and efficiency, demonstrating food cost control practices
  • Ensuring high standards of hygiene per HACCP standards within the kitchen and your section

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, preferably in a 5 star hotel environment
  • An up-to-date food hygiene certificate
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, pressured environment
  • Level 4 or equivalent cookery certificate
