Aha! is a fully remote, high-growth SaaS company that offers product development software. We are a mid-sized engineering team focused on North American time zones to collaborate during the workday. Our Roadmaps Frameworks team focuses on core functionality for Aha! Roadmaps and related reporting and planning features across the product suite.

Responsibilities

  • Implement new features for our users, touching each layer of the MVC as needed
  • Build deeply interactive reporting interfaces using React
  • Collaborate with product and UX to refine and iterate on specifications as features take shape
  • Investigate slow performance and optimize queries to keep Aha! fast and responsive
  • Interface directly with users to quickly address bugs as part of regular customer support rotation
  • Document components in the style guide to promote consistency

Qualifications

  • Four+ years of experience working in Ruby on Rails
  • Builder of scalable, efficient, and maintainable architectures
  • Experience developing features at a high-growth SaaS company
  • Active collaborator with product teams
  • What you will work on

  • Implement new features across the full stack, as needed
  • Develop interactive reporting interfaces with React
  • Partner with product and UX to refine specifications
  • Performance optimization and query tuning
  • Bug squash and customer support rotation
  • Documentation in the style guide to support consistency
  • Compensation & Benefits

  • The base salary range for this role in the U.S. is between $110,000 and $190,000
  • Cash-based compensation includes profit sharing; retirement contributions apply
